Panamera S E-Hybrid V6 3.0L (416Hp)

The lineup now includes the Panamera S E-Hybrid with 416 hp of system power and a new 3.0-liter V6 engine. New and improved technologies enable fuel savings of up to 56 percent while enhancing driving and operating comfort. The new 970.2 Panamera showcases a more expressive design with tighter lines, more pronounced contours, and newly shaped body elements, emphasizing its efficiency, sportiness, comfort, and elegance. The Panamera S E-Hybrid sets new standards in efficiency, performance, and convenience. It is an advanced development of the parallel full hybrids, featuring a more powerful electric motor, a higher-performance battery, and the ability to charge externally from the electrical grid. The electric motor produces 95 hp (70 kW), more than double the power of the previous model’s motor, drawing energy from a newly developed 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, significantly larger than the previous 1.7 kWh nickel-metal hydride battery. Charging takes around two and a half hours via an industrial outlet or less than four hours via a conventional household outlet.

The Panamera S E-Hybrid delivers significantly improved driving performance compared to its predecessor. NEDC fuel consumption has been reduced by 56 percent, from 7.1 l/100 km to 3.1 l/100 km, resulting in CO2 emissions of 71 g/km. All-electric performance has been enhanced, including electric acceleration, range, and top speed. The car can achieve an electric driving range of 36 kilometers in NEDC-based testing, though real-world range may vary between 18 and 36 km depending on conditions. In all-electric mode, the Panamera can reach speeds up to 135 km/h.

The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is now 5.5 seconds, half a second faster than before, aided by the electric boost function which enhances the performance of the combustion engine. The top speed is 270 km/h. Porsche’s parallel full hybrid concept also includes a "coasting" feature at higher speeds, which involves free coasting with the internal combustion engine shut off and energy recovery.

The Panamera S E-Hybrid introduces new convenience features accessible via a smartphone app. These include a charge status indicator and auxiliary climate control for preheating or cooling the car, programmable in the vehicle or via the app. The app also offers battery management, remote access to vehicle information like remaining driving range, and a feature to help locate the parked vehicle. These functions are available for other Panamera models via the Porsche Car Connect app.
