About Panamera 4 3.0L Turbocharged V6 Sport Turismo

Debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the 971.1 Panamera 4 Sport Turismo body variant leaned more towards a shooting-brake design rather than a traditional station wagon. Despite retaining the same drivetrain and luxurious interior as its predecessor, it boasted increased rear space without sacrificing aesthetics.

Resembling a lowered Macan rather than a typical station wagon, its sleek rear profile appeared tailored for aerodynamic efficiency while still accommodating cargo. The unique tailgate design served dual purposes, optimizing both aerodynamics and cargo capacity, steering clear of mimicking the rear-end design of a 911.

Inside, the Turbo Sport Turismo mirrored the regular Panamera's layout, abandoning the multi-button center console for haptic buttons on a responsive touch-screen. While the infotainment unit was spacious and intuitive, it exclusively supported Apple CarPlay. The extended roofline facilitated higher rear doors for improved access to the three rear seats, with the trunk offering an additional 25 liters (0.9 cu-ft) of storage compared to the standard Panamera. Notably, this was the first Porsche Panamera model available with up to five seats.

Powering the Panamera Sport Turismo was a twin-turbo, 3.0ltr V6 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive system. To ensure stability on the road, adaptive suspension components were seamlessly integrated into the vehicle's configuration.
