The base 3.6ltr V6 Cayenne delivered a robust 299hp @ 6,300 rpm and 295 ft lbs of torque. Its acceleration was impressively brisk, clocking 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 143 mph. The car boasted slightly larger dimensions—longer, wider, and higher than its predecessor—and all new models sported redesigned headlights with distinctive Porsche styling.
In July 2014, Porsche unveiled the facelifted Cayenne range for the 2015 model year, featuring subtle exterior tweaks and updated powertrain options. The base Cayenne received a mildly refreshed exterior design along with interior enhancements inspired by the 918 Spyder. New interior colors, Carrara White and Palladium Metallic, were introduced, while the two-tone black/beige upholstery became a no-cost option. Additionally, dark walnut accents became available for the interior.
Furthermore, the suspension across all Cayenne models underwent revisions to enhance performance and driving dynamics.
