The 992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, is the base model 911 with all-wheel drive and a convertible top. It features the same 379-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine as its rear-drive sibling.
Standard features include Porsche’s active suspension and the new "wet mode." The 992 Carrera 4 Cabriolet comes with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) offering "Normal" and "Sport" modes. While the electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential and ceramic composite brakes are optional, the standard setup includes cast iron rotors. The wheels measure 19 inches in the front and 20 inches in the rear. Performance-wise, the Carrera 4 Cabriolet hits 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package and has a top speed of 179 mph. The quarter-mile takes 12.5 seconds. Its all-wheel-drive system ensures impressive traction and cornering, especially in wet conditions.
The current model’s all-wheel-drive system, refined from the previous generation, can transfer up to 50 percent of power to the front wheels when needed. The 992 Carrera 4 Cabriolet offers a driving experience similar to a rear-drive 911 but with added stability in various conditions.
Interior space is ample for front passengers, with extra storage in the frunk and foldable rear seats. The updated PCM infotainment system features a 10.9-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The automatic fabric top, which opens and closes at speeds up to 31 mph in just 12 seconds, includes a heated glass rear window and integrated magnesium supports. The Carrera 4 Cabriolet is a versatile and enjoyable 911, perfect for year-round driving.
